On Friday and Saturday evenings, year-round, we stay open late and welcome a local solo musician to the patio or the tasting room to offer a few hours of live music for our guests to enjoy with their wine. Please join us during the warmer months of the year out on the patio, and bring a picnic dinner to eat while enjoying a beautiful sunset. During the fall and winter, curl up with a bottle of wine by the cozy fireplace in our tasting room. If we are hosting a wedding and the main tasting room is closed to the public, we always have music and wine tastings at the cabin on the hill behind the winery, one of the best-kept secrets at Barren Ridge.

The music on Friday and Saturday evenings is complimentary. During the summer, music runs from 5:30 till 8:30, and during the winter, 4:30 till 7:30. The one exception to the schedule is the 3rd Friday of every month, when we host a band from 7 till 10 and charge $10 for admission. Our most frequent performers are Buddy Thomas on Friday evenings and Larry Ragland on Saturdays, but feel free to call us to check on the schedule and musician for any specific date.
